Hiking this remote area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was long, tiring, incredible, and indescribable. Not only did we travel back in time, we also enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of nature.

Wandering in and out of museums, strolling the boulevards, biking past famous monuments, and enjoying the exceptional cuisine is what we enjoyed at the start of our 3 month sabbatical.

Jerusalem, Haifa, Acre, Nazareth, Golan Heights, Galilee, the Dead Sea, the Red Sea, Bethlehem, Masada, Qumran, and even a quick visit to Jordan’s Petra and Wadi Rum, we are visiting it all!
